Pathways

This is annual event which QED-UK has run successfully for the past five years. It introduces 100 young people to ten employers in order that they might learn about the world of work over a period of two days.

Working Citizen

This is a project supported by Yorkshire Forward, the EU, and Bradford Council, to train 50 newly-arrived adults on British citizenship and in how to become an effective member of society.

Muslim Employment Conference

This will be a major national conference, supported by Neil Stewart Associates, to be held in October 2007. It will have a two-fold aim:

  • to explore the reasons for the 30% employment rate gap between British Pakistani and Bangladeshi people and the overall population

  • to share good practice as to how to tackle the causes and the barriers.

Once more details are available the conference will have its own page on this website.
