QED-UK began running English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses in 1990 and thus has over 18 years experience on which to draw in this important field of education.
In August 2007, it introduced ESOL with Citizenship courses to meet the needs of people worried about getting indefinite leave to remain in the UK or applying for British Citizenship. Over 300 people have already attended these with over 95% passing the exams.
These high quality courses are run by qualified ESOL Tutors and the total duration of each course is 20 hours, as recommended by the Home Office.
Those passing the course can apply for indefinite leave to remain in the UK and for British Citizenship. Furthermore, they will not be required to sit the Life in the UK test.
Free assessment is carried out by qualified tutors every week at our Centre on 243 Manningham Lane. Those falling below entry level 1 are given free tuition and those at level 3 and above can attend our Preparing for the Life in the UK Test course. The majority of people then go on to our ESOL Citizenship courses.
Day-time, evening and weekend classes are available.Courses are run in Bradford and Keighley with plans to run these courses in other parts of Yorkshire and England.
If you have spouses, relatives or friends who could benefit from our courses please ring Mohammed Imran on 01274 483267 or on his mobile on 07813 646837 to discuss your needs, or visit us at 243 Manningham Lane, Bradford, BD8 7ER.
